Graduated from New York City’s Stuyvesant High School, followed by a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology from SUNY at Purchase, AS in Respiratory Therapy at Mass Bay Community College, and Masters of Education in Health Promotion from Bridgewater State College.

Steve and I have been part of the Red Dog Inn family since 1995 when we would board and groom our wonderful Shepard / boxer mix dog named Alex. All through Alex's life, we knew that there was no better place to bring her. In 2008 we welcomed Chava to our home and Red Dog Inn welcomed her into the family as well. 13 years after our first time as a client we were again reminded how there was no other place to even consider. After being loyal clients of Red Dog Inn for 22 years, we learned that the previous owners were ready to retire.

Like any long-term client for any business, we wanted to be sure that everything which works so well would continue, and that changes would only lead to improvements. When The opportunity arose for us to buy the Red Dog Inn and Resort we were thrilled to go forward with the purchase. We became the owners of the Red Dog Inn and Resort in November 2017. As clients, we benefited from all of the caring excellence that the Red Dog Inn family offers. In 2022 we welcomed Artemis To our family. She is a Beagle, Chihuahua, Dachshund mix who we adopted through our partner, Rhode Home Rescue.

Now we are so happy to continue to feel the genuine love and caring while we introduce additional services and 'extras'. At the Red Dog Inn we Love our Clients, and it shows!

Patti and I work closely as a team to make sure the dogs and staff are well-cared for, happy, and safe. I enjoy spending time at the front desk where I can meet and greet the Red Dog clients, both human and canine. When I am not at Red Dog I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

Owner / Secretary / Treasurer
Steve’s education includes a Science Baccalaureate in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

What motivated me to join the Red Dog team was my love for dogs and the care our own dogs have received at the Red Dog Inn. Eliza and I have been clients of the Red Dog Inn and Resort since 1995 and co-owners since November 2017.

My jobs at Red Dog are behind the scenes where I ensure that all of the required paperwork is completed, and the business items are all running invisibly. You are more likely to see me at Red Dog when I drop off our dog, Artemis, than in my working capacity. When I am not at Red Dog, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
